St. Peters Church

Surveying Services

Hensgens Trahan Engineering leverages the latest technology to provide innovative solution to solve our client's challenges. The challenge: Dynamic Industries Inc. was tasked with erecting a scaffolding assembly in order to perform renovations to the St. Peter's Church Building, originally built in 1904. The scaffolding assembly was designed with two independent bases on each side of the church. The two bases had to be constructed "blindly" on opposite sides of the church, with no way of knowing if the two bases were properly aligned. The two structures then had to be connected with a structural beam 42-ft off the ground.

HTEC was contracted by Dynamic Industries to ensure the two independent bases were in the exact location required for the connecting beam to fit. Utilizing GPS and conventional survey equipment, HTEC accurately positioned the scaffolding base to provide for a successful alignment of the assembly. The positioning and stakeout services provided by HTEC allowed our client to confidently and efficiently erect the scaffolding assembly on time and on budget.
