Hensgens Trahan Engineering coordinates with local and state agencies to address a variety of different permitting concerns. When a local developer endeavored to build a motel, the first step was to clear the site. Before clearing could begin, the local municipality required that all environmental concerns be addressed. Specifically, the developer was required to prove that the proposed clearing activities would not have an adverse impact on Bayou D'Inde.
Working closely with our client and the local & state government, HTEC prepared a construction plan set and a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans in order to obtain local approvals and a DEQ storm water discharge permit. This project required an accelerated design schedule to meet specific deadlines. HTEC was able to provide these services in a time-critical manner to prevent delays in construction, enhancing the success of our client's project.
